Recording Studio Policies & Terms of Service

To ensure a safe, professional, and productive environment for all clients  the following policies apply to all sessions and services

1. Facility Location & Conduct

  • This studio is located in a private non-disclosed area in West Little Rock, and physical address will only be provided with an invoice to pay once finished the required steps.

  • Clients must keep noise, behavior, and movement respectful in all common areas, hallways and entrances.

  • Loitering outside of studio area or common areas is not permitted.

  • No littering. Clients and guests must keep the studio clean and outside

2. No Smoking / No Substances

 

  • No smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, or e-cigarettes).

  • No drugs or illegal substances allowed on the premises.

  • Clients under the influence may have their session ended immediately without refund

3. No Weapons

 

  • Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited, including but not limited to firearms, knives, tasers, or pepper spray.

  • Violation results in immediate termination of the session and possible removal from the premises.

4. No Pets

 

  • No pets or animals allowed, including emotional support animals (service animals excluded as required by law).

5. No Bookbags / Large Bags

 

  • No backpacks, bookbags, duffel bags, or large personal bags permitted inside the studio.

  • Small personal items (wallets, phones, keys) are allowed.

  • This policy is for security, safety, and equipment protection.

6. Identification & Payment Verification

 

  • Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all clients.

  • Credit/debit card verification is required for all payments.

  • Name on the ID must match the payment method.

  • Sessions may be declined if verification cannot be completed.

7. Payment Policy

 

  • Payment is required in full before services begin.

  • No sessions, mixing, mastering, or file delivery will start without confirmed payment.

  • Accepted payments must clear successfully before work begins

8. No Refund Policy

 

  • All sales are final.

  • No refunds once recording, mixing, mastering, or any studio service has started.

  • Studio time, engineer time, and digital services are non-refundable.

9. Minors (Under 18)

 

  • Clients under 18 years old must:

    • Be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, OR

    • Provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  • Valid ID is required for both the minor and guardian.

10. Right to Refuse Service

  • The studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate service for:

    • Policy violations

    • Unsafe behavior

    • Disruptive conduct

    • Failure to follow studio policy rules

    • Identity Verification is faulty

  • No refunds will be issued if a session is terminated due to policy violations.

11. On-Time Session Policy

  • Clients must arrive on time

  • Session time starts at the scheduled time, not arrival

  • Late arrivals do not extend session time

  • Sessions delayed 15+ minutes may be canceled without refund

12. Late Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

  • 24-hour notice required to cancel or reschedule

  • Cancellations within 24 hours = charged in full

  • Same-day cancellations & no-shows are non-refundable

  • Repeated reschedules may be declined

  • Reschedules are subject to availability and approval

13. Surveillance & Security Notice

For the safety of our clients and staff:

  • The facility is under 24-hour surveillance.
  • Security camers monitor both interior and exterior of the property.
  • Any illegal activity will result in immediate session termination without refund.

14. Recording & Mixing Policy

  • Studio time booked is reserved for recording unless otherwise scheduled.
  • Mixing is a separate service and requires additional time.
  • If you would like your song mixed during your session, you must book enough time to allow for both recording and mixing.
  • Mixing will not begin unless sufficient time has been scheduled.
  • We do not rush mixes. Quality takes time.
  • Stems and session master copies are FREE to get during your session time. Anything after your session time will cost a fee to prepare to send.

15. Appointment – Only Studio Policy (Client Notice)

Chop Spot Recordings operates by appointment only:
For the safety, privacy, and scheduling of all clients, walk-ins are not permitted and the studio is not open to the public without a confirmed booking.
If you would like to view the studio location in person before booking, please schedule a Video consultation or consultation appointment in advance. We’ll be happy to show you the space, discuss your project goals, and answer any questions.

16. Guest Policy

Sessions are limited to the booking client plus up to two (2) guests. The booking client is fully responsible for guest behavior and compliance with studio rules. Additional visitors are not permitted without prior approval.
