Online Audio Mixing Instructions

1. Find the best online mixing option for your music project in the service menu. 

2. Prepare all session files with no plugins on the inserts if using Pro Tools.

3. All audio files should be trackedout separately and in their right time placement when uploaded.

4. Make sure all audio files are good recordings with no distortion and hot points before sending. 

5. Send audio stems in a wave form or Mp3.

6. Place session files or audio stems into a zip file folder.

7. Send audio zipped files to chopspotrecordings@gmail.com using the Wetransfer link here.

8. We will contact you to collect further information about your song or project that is processed to be mixed.

Online Audio Mastering Instructions

1. Make sure the mixing is complete before sending. 

2. Your song should have head room for mastering where it is not already loud.

3. Send your song as a Waveform or Mp3.

4. Send files to chopspotrecordings@gmail.com using the Wetransfer link here.

5. We will contact you to collect further information about your song or project that is processed to be mastered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I send mp3 files also to be mixed? Yes, we prefer everything to be wave file but we can work with a  mp3 file type as well.

Will it take a long time to get the song back? No. We usually start immediately after receiving payment and project files or 24-72 hours after service purchase. If we happen to be extremely booked during your purchase we will contact you directly to give you a better ETA on being serviced, or refund your money back if we can’t meet deadline before starting.

Can we mail the files on a flash drive or hard drive? Yes. Send to 11715 Rainwood Road Suite A6, Little Rock, Ar 72212. I would send to a post office for us to sign for package that way you know for sure we received your package.

What if I’m a few stems over or under the service fee details, will the price change? No, prices are already set at a base rate that is considered for the project size amount. So if you are a few stems over dont worry about it we will contact you before starting if we feel a need to update your service fee amount.

Can I send the program session if I do not know how to track my files? Yes, just make sure we have the software for what file you need trackedout.

Can I have the Pro tools session my song was mixed in? Yes you sure can. You can get the dry copy for free but the actual mixed template that was set for your mixing session will cost a fee.

Do you all negotiate prices for mixing and mastering projects? Yes we will negotiate a better price for bigger projects.

Do you have a monthly fee I can pay to get song(s) mixed on the regular? No and Yes, Depending on how many songs you want mixed a month, and how many songs you plan on doing annually will determine how we would put an invoice together for you.

Can you mix my song while live? Yes we will mix your song live on our social media account for a small amount of time. Possibly 20 minutes to a hour on live.

If I have 2 songs put together would that be considered as 1 song or 2 songs? That would be charged as 2 songs if the stems reach a project stem limit. 

What website do you recommend for sending large files? We recommend www.wetransfer.com but you can use whatever source you would like that gets the job done.

What If I hear something in the mix I want taken off will I be charged for that if I already received my song back? No, If its something simple and minor we can change for you we will do it with no charge.

Do you all do referral discounts? Yes, If we see that you are sending us clients to mix and master we will give you discounts on some of your projects that need serviced.
